The Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by Oaklands Mobile Massage. This website offers professional mobile massage therapies. By accessing or using the website and our services you approve that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited under any law or regulation applicable to you.

In order to provide the services, we will collect personal data from you. Before making a booking or purchase through us, please read our privacy policy further down on this site.

Key Commercial Terms
When purchasing one of our services, you agree that you are responsible for reading the full service listing before making a commitment to buy it and you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase a service when you commit to buy.
The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for services displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
By making a booking, you are responsible for:
- Full payment of the applicable treatment fee;
- Ensuring the therapist has access to your designated premises and that these provide suitable space to accommodate the treatment;
- Ensuring the health and safety of the therapist whilst at your designated premises.
Business area
Oaklands Mobile Massage provide mobile massage service to the areas stated on the website at no charge. Should a client request a mobile massage treatment further afield, a surcharge of £2.50 per mile may apply.

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please ensure you give a minimum of 24 hours notice. To cancel/reschedule please contact us at christina.menig@gmx.net or 07760 201985.
Failure to do so, will incur a fee of £20, payable on receipt of your cancellation request. This fee may be waived due to exceptional circumstances at our discretion, e.g. the client is showing Covid-19 symptoms. Please get in contact with us directly.
Payment
Full payment is due at the end of the treatment and can be made in cash, by debit/credit card or bank transfer. Invoices are available upon request.
​ Inappropriate behaviour
Oaklands Mobile Massage has a zero tolerance policy to inappropriate behaviour. We reserve the right to terminate a treatment with immediate effect and without refund if you demonstrate behaviour including but not limited to: intimidation, verbal aggression, physical violence, evidence of intoxication or sexual behaviour.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available to purchase and are valid and redeemable within the dates specified on each individual voucher. Vouchers redeemed outside of these dates will not be accepted. Please ensure that the person who will be receiving the treatment is within the service radius (within 8 miles of Esher, Surrey) and is able to accommodate the treatment in their home.
Gift cards do not have any cash value and may be redeemed for service or part of a service. Gift cards are non-transferrable and non-refundable and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
Promotion codes & Client referrals
We may offer promotional codes and referral codes that can be redeemed against purchases of Oaklands Mobile Massage services. These codes may be subject to specific terms which will be made available and are only valid for a period of time stated on or with them. Codes do not have any cash value, can only be used once and only one code per person. Codes may not be duplicated, sold, transferred, distributed or made available to others unless Oaklands Mobile Massage has specifically consented.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Oaklands Mobile Massage harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Oaklands Mobile Massage or their therapists be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oaklands Mobile Massage assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.
Right to change and modify Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
Preference of law and dispute resolution
These Terms make up the whole agreement between you and us in how you use our website. If a court decides that a condition is not valid, the rest of the conditions will still apply.
The laws of England and Wales apply to your use of our website and these Terms. By using our website you agree that the laws of England and Wales will apply to everything relating to you using our website and you agree to keep to these laws.

What type of information does Oaklands Mobile Massage collect?
Beside your contact details that you provide when filling in our contact form on our website, we will ask for your medical information during the initial consultation at your first massage appointment. These information will be held together with any further medical records to make up your complete Client Record.

How do we collect information?
Contact details are usually collected via our website's contact form and during the first consultation (see consultation form). If you fill in our website's contact form you agree that Oaklands Mobile Massage hold your contact information. If you do not wish for your contact details to be saved, you may state so in your original message or by contacting us directly.

Why does Oaklands Mobile Massage collect such personal information?
We aim to deliver a tailored service to our customers and to do so we collect such personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the mobile massage service;
- To provide our customers with after care and advice;
- To be able to contact our customers with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages if they should have consented to this;
- To provide our customers with gift vouchers if purchased;
- To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we store, use, share and disclose your personal information?
Personal information, especially medical information is collected during consultation as paper records which are stored in a locked cabinet with controlled access by authorised staff only. Contact information collected via the website contact form are stored on a secured email server.
Oaklands Mobile Massage will not share your personal information unless explicitly requested by you or there are legal grounds for us to disclose something you have shared. If there is reason for your information to be shared between therapists for the purpose of your treatment, we will sought your permission before any information is shared.

How long do we keep your data for?
Oaklands Mobile Massage will keep your personal information for 2 years in line with GDPR.
For insurance and regulatory reasons, medical information will be kept for 2 years after which they will be archived for an additional 10 years. You have the right to ask us to destroy your Client Record at any time, if you wish to terminate our working relationship.
Privacy notice updates
We reserve the right to modify this privacy notice at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with how we are handling your data, please raise your concern with us first, so that we can seek a resolution. If you are still not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
